IOSONO 3D Sound for German Industry Event

On February 20, decision makers from science, industry and politics met in Berlin to celebrate research and innovations made in Germany. The event titled “Knowledge, Thinkers, Innovations” featured keynotes and panels discussing the connection of research and economy and presenting successful innovative companies.

One of the showcases of successfully bringing new technologies to the market was IOSONO which presented a 3D sound lounge at the location. Taking a break from the busy event, guests were invited to sit down and enjoy vivid soundscapes and stunning 3D sound compositions, creating a calm contrast to the busy event.

The event was organized by leading German research institutes partnering in the funding initiative “Pact for Research and Innovation” – Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, Helmholtz Association, Max Planck Society, Leibniz Association and DFG. “As a Fraunhofer spin-off IOSONO is a perfect example of marketing highly innovative technologies, successfully spreading 3D sound internationally. Our guests really enjoyed the 3D sound lounge,” says Prof. Dr.-Ing. Reimund Neugebauer, president of Fraunhofer Gesellschaft.
