Application areas are rehabilitation, sports/fitness, and medical education.

Competence Centre Virtual Reality at TU Ilmenau

The competence centre at the TU Ilmenau uses an innovative flexible audiovisual stereo projection system (FASP). The combination of stereo projection and IOSONO sound provides new technical opportunities and approaches for product and process simulation in virtual reality applications. The main application areas are: Virtual Prototyping, Real-time Rendering and Usability Engineering.
