Uwe Karbenk, a native of Germany, has a 12-year track record of successful international business development in entertainment and consumerproducts, spanning the US, China and Western Europe.

Previously, Mr. Karbenk held various executive positions at Paramount Pictures (Los Angeles, USA), Triumph International (Shanghai, China and Hong Kong) and Metro AG (Cologne, Germany). Within these companies, he contributed to a $300mm financing and various M&A projects for the entertainment industry, led a sales and marketing force of more than 2,000 people to consecutive double-digit profit growth in the consumer goods sector and helped turn around a leading retailing chain by re-engineering major business processes.

Mr. Karbenk has a Master Degree in European Management, a Titre des Grandes Ecoles de Gestion, and a Diplom-Kaufmann. He studied business and economy in Paris, Oxford, Berlin and Mannheim. Today, he is based in Los Angeles, California.
