IOSONO: Successful launch of the new Spatial Audio Workstation
IOSONO - specialist in 3D audio - has successfully launched the next generation of the Spatial Audio Workstation (SAW) at the 128th AES Convention in London.
This versatile, object-based authoring Plug-in allows the user to easily create and edit complex sound scenes. The IOSONO sound format allows for an immersive audio experience without the limitations of specific reproduction systems or speaker setups and offers future-proof mastering of auditory scene data.

definiti® and IOSONO Immerse at Expo Zaragoza 2008
Sky-Skan today announced the opening of a definiti® theater with IOSONO audio at Expo Zaragoza 2008, a 3-month international exposition. The Spanish pavilion hosts the theater, which allows visitors to be immersed using fantastic video imagery covering the entire dome ceiling screen. This definiti theater features the first use of 360-degree IOSONO audio in a dome. Visitors will be immersed in a newly created show called Hijos del Agua (Children of the Water) played nearly 50 times each day. Evenings will feature a single performance of Francisco Lopez's "Sound Voyage Throughout the World's Waters."

New IOSONO® Spatial Audio Workstation Plug-inexclusively for Nuendo 4
IOSONO GmbH and Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Media Technology present their newest audio production tool at the 124th AES Convention in Amsterdam. IOSONO GmbH and Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Media Technology IDMT show their brand-new development - the next generation of IOSONO® Spatial Audio Workstation (SAW). The object-oriented surround panning and mixing plug-in exclusively for Steinberg's Nuendo 4 will be presented at the Fraunhofer booth 2217, and in special product shows on Monday, May 19th (12 a.m. and 4 p.m.) at the Steinberg booth 1910.
